SmartSITE Digital Warehouse Management System (DWMS)

Ad Hoc Receiving

Allows a warehouse to receive a shipment of untagged inventory, then tag and associate the things to be tracked.

Put Away

Used to receive previously tagged assets and assign them to warehouse locations. Assets are then physically placed there.

Reservations App

Used to reserve inventory for a specific work order or hold. Helps prevent associated inventory from being placed on other orders.

Inventory App

Used to view a list of assets and the reservations placed on them. Can also export an inventory report as a PDF or CSV file.

Imports App

Used to bulk import inventory into your digital warehouse using a CSV template.

Picking App

Uses POs to direct warehouse workers to select assets for an order. Admin usually creates these POs in their ERP systems.

Handset is used to scan inventory and reconciles findings against database records. Find Item function to indicate a user's proximity to inventory to be picked.

Capture App - SmartSITE Mobile

Used to track material movement within an on-site location. Functions include cycle count, check in, check out and associate.

Event History - SmartSITE Dashboard

Used to produce a report showing all performed events during a specified period of time. Examples of events include Cycle Count and Association within the Capture app.

Parts App - SmartSITE Dashboard

Used to create parts, search for parts, and edit properties of your current inventory. It's an overarching app used by all apps.

Things App - SmartSITE Dashboard

Things can be people, assets, inventory, locations, and individual schedules. The custom properties of an individual inventory item are defined as Things. Locations are assigned to individual Things which enables them to have their own schedules. If a Thing is a trade good, it has a SKU.
